Freeport or HMC

We're looking into booking a girls only trip for a group of four 30 somethings. It looks like it's between 2 Carnival cruises. One stops in Nassau and Freeport and the other stops in Nassau and HMC. Which one looks the best and for what reasons? I'm personally leaning towards HMC but want to know what others who have been before might have to say so I can pursuade the others in our group. Thanks! ;)

For a cruiser HMC would be better for you. Freeport (GBI) is more for a land trip. There is plenty to do and we will back to GBI this May... but we have friends and will most likely do something with them.

It depends. If you are beach people, then definitely go to HMC and look into booking a cabana. HMC is a fantastic private island. I personally prefer GBI because I am not a beach person and there was a lot to do besides being out in the sun all day. Oh, and Freeport is an industrial port, so there is nothing nearby to do...have to take a taxi or book an excursion through the ship. Hope this helps.
