Herbie 53 Posted February 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Hi all, Does anyone know if there is a time limit on when you can book the restaurants on line? I am on the IOS May 23rd 2009 and it wont let me book it. I have tried perodically for about two weeks, but getting no where. Does the length of cruise matter? It is a short 4 day cruise. Thanks, :)

Rare NorbertsNiece Posted February 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I seem to remember that it was not possible last year on these Cork cruises - soemthing to do with not travelling outside the EU so there were tax implications. We travelled on the Independence to the Med last year and both restaurants were open throughout. We never left the EU...... My guess is bookings aren't open yet. Am thinking you will get the same result if you tried to book Portofino's too.
Albert Ross Posted February 18, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2009 The OP is on the 4n to Cork - as I have said before they do not let you prebook this on line before hand because you are not sailing outside of the EU. So you go straight to the restaurant on the first day and make your reservations then. No one is able to prebook so the options should be wide open. NorbertsNiece - actually, yes, you did leave the EU as you stopped at Gibraltar.
