Does anyone know how the weather normally is the first week of April? Is it cool in the mornings?

Not sure what you call "cool" weather. Early April can be variable, but my best guess is that, say, 6:00AM will be in the mid-seventies. It could be as high as lmid-eighties and as low as low seventies. It will most likely be clear. The later morning will be sunny.

 

If it is breezy, that will help Key West feel cooler.

 

Those are my best guesses. April can be very comfortable and a wonderful time to visit Key West, but there can be hot spells, especially closer to May.

Thanks for your response. I was just trying to decide what to pack. I think I will bring a light jacket just in case.

For the first half of April the average low is 70 and the average high is 80.
