Dinner ?'s

Does the food in the MDR get fancier or just the attire on "formal" nights?

I get that that Portofino & Chops are worth the extra $$. But would you try to do them on a casual night in the MDR? Also would anyone recommend the Mystery Dinner Theater Or Wine night?

MDR food is essentially the same all of the time...just different menu items. The overall atmosphere gets better in some ways during formal night...

Personally I love Portifinos over MDR any day...but its more like a special place to eat here at home as well.

On formal nights, they usually serve the "fisherman's platter" or some nice cut of steak, or prime rib....something along those lines.

The dining room itself is always "white tablecloth" style and the waiters dress for the meal---(we're not talking "Denny's")! The attire of the passengers is what gives the "formal" dinners their "over-the-top" feel.
