bring booze on board princess emerald

1st time cruiser Oct 18th from Lauderdale on board Princess Emerald. Have 2 rooms side by each on Baja deck with balconey. My question is can you pack booze in to your luggage. I think we will love to sit out on balconey and enjoy a "Baileys" or "crown". I do not want to have to head to a bar to bring drink back to our room and sit out on balconey. I have heard so many different stories about bringing booze in your luggage. I can't imagine that they catch everything.

Princess's policy prohibits carrying alcohol on board. If the find it at the gangway, they will "hold" it for you and return it the last night.

 

That said, I have never had a problem, nor have I heard of anyone havng one.

Each adult pax can bring one bottle of wine on board with them, dont have to hide it or smuggle.

We did not have any problem in February having it in our checked luggage.
