Do the HAL shops sell Pashmina Shawls onboard?

Faux pashmina, if I recall correctly. I'm fairly certain I saw a display of colored fabric shawls onboard.

The ones I saw onboard last summer were not cashmere (Pashmina), but were of such good quality, you could hardly tell the difference. I don't remember how much they were, but I do remember thinking it was a good value.

Faux, yes and they were on sale recently on the Noordam for $10 in many, many colors.

I think a true pashmina is cashmere! Mine were made in Nepal and are very expensive so I do not think the ones sold on board are. They would probably be easy to care for and comfortable on the ships.

The faux pashminas will do in a pinch if you think you need a wrap for the dining room but they don't pack nearly as well as a true pashmina - they wrinkle excessively. They also don't feel as weightless as a pashmina. I certainly wouldn't buy them for gifts.

ditto-the $10 pashminas wrinkle- a lot- but are nice bright colors and work well in a pinch onboard. Material is fairly coarse;hold up to light and look for imperfections in weave and spots.
