POM questions

I am staying at the Hilton Garden Inn MIA the night before my cruise. I plan to leave there around 9 a.m. to drop the rental car and get a cab/shuttle to the port. Is that too early? If I am too early is there a shady area? I am not suppose to be in the direct sun.

I'm staying at HGI MIA too! When is your cruise?

The cab ride to POM is only 20 minutes or so - I'd relax for another hour or so before leaving the hotel. You'll still be there in time to check in and be on board for lunch. Good luck!:)
