I am just a cruiser, but to answer your question, it is YES. Van and cars are taxi's. It is a flat fee for up to 4 people to any of the beach clubs. Depending on what pier that you dock, it will be about $12 to $14 per 4 people each way. Getting a van will be your most comfortable mode of transfer. They wait outside the cruise terminal and are easily available for the return trip at Paradise Beach. Have small bills as they rarely have change; tip is included in the rate.

No problem! A car taxi holds 4 passengers, maybe 5 if there's a little one to squeeze in and will be $12 from the Puerta Maya or International piers to PB, $13 from Punta Langosta. Vans typically charge double plus $2, making two taxis a better deal, but you can ask the taxi dispatcher at the pier. Sometimes you can get a better deal on a van.

Enjoy!

If your only destination is Paradise Beach, then just grab any old cab as Sally has suggested. If you are planning on multiple stops or touring the island, find a YAXKIN transport van/suburban rep, (just outside the pier exit) and make your best deal. This is a reputable company with new vehicles, and experienced drivers who stay at the speed limit! They have white shirts with a green logo...have fun!

Most taxis will allow 5 people in a taxi for 4 BUT will charge you more than the posted rate. (Same with the vans.) So watch out! I can't give you an exact amount since they do alot of "freelancing" with their prices from time to time. And please remember that the tip is included in the price unless they do something way above the ordinary for you.
