Is the port or starboard side of the ship facing the island on the 2 ports that you dock at? Just wondered if our balcony will be facing them or not?

Starboard side in Roatan. Could be either in Cozumel depending upon when the ship arrives and what other ships are in port. And it's port side in Tampa.

Actually in May when we were there, it was the port side, not the starboard side. I think it is a crap shoot, depending on how they pull in.

You could be right. We were in Roatan in May as well and our starboard cabin was next to the pier.

We just got back from the 4 Day Inspiration cruise. When we departed we boarded the Port side ... when we returned the disembarkation was on the Starboard side. So even at home port, it can be either side, I guess.
