We will be there on the Imagination end of July. Can anyone give an idea of the weather now and then. Our dks are 8 and 4 and want to plan.

I sometimes take heat (sic) for saying this but Key West is approx 1 X 4 square miles and so is too small to have weather, or at least an accurate weather forecast.

 

If you google Key West weather, and look at the underground weather web page, you will see a five day forecast with the chance of T'storms at 20, or 30, or 40 %. This is correct but one of those T'storms will most like be this one

 

 

...seven miles off Key West.

 

Having said all that, weather in all of July is generally good with a 20, 30 or 40 % chance of T'storms every day.

I would say that Key West has pretty accurate weather since the National Weather Service built a multi million dollar facility here a year or so ago.

 

Lows will average around 80 and highs around 90 during that time period.

Hot and humid with afternoon pop up showers...that would be my very best prognostication for July weather in fabulous Key West.
