Unused internet credit ---- does it revert to general OBC?

Hi --- What happens to any unused internet credit which is not part of a purchased package? Does that leftover credit get lumped together with your OBC? This happened to us on our last cruise, but didn't know if this is the standard or was a fluke. Thanks!

How can you have unused internet credit if you didn't buy a package? If you are talking about internet allowance for Plat. or Elite, if you didn't sign on for it, you don't get it. It's not OBC and if that happened to you it was a mistake.

Even if you don't purchase the internet package with the credit given for platinum or elite, it never goes back to you as shipboard credit. It isn't a shipboard credit but an internet credit only. Are you sure this was the credit you received? If so, I have honestly never heard of this happening before.

Thanks for your input; it must have been a fluke, as it was reflected in OBC for that cruise. As I recall, the internet connection was particularly sloooooowwww (almost non-existent!) on that ship --- even slower than usual --- so maybe we weren't charged for usage. Still doesn't explain why we got the OBC. That was our first time as Platinum members, so we didn't know what the procedure was. Now we do!
