I believe all Carnival ships dock at the same pier a couple of mile north of the town.

Cozumel is a great port for walking and shopping. The ship will dock.

Yes, the downtown area is very nice and worth the trip. Lots of shopping/bars/rest. etc.

Actually they dock SOUTH of town. The Puerta Maya pier only holds two ships. So if there are more ships in port that day, they may use the Punta Langosta or the International pier. Usually it is the Holiday that gets bumped.

The cab ride is now $7.00 from the Puerta Maya and International piers to the downtown area.
