Taxi should not be a problem to get there. If you can't find one to return, there are a number of other options.

Club Balcony is slightly larger. Remember that you are still charged gratuities on specialty dinning and the drink package.

In Porto I like the 6 bridges tour. Not too expensive and you can pick up on either side of the river.

I don't want to make you feel like Gilligan, but Princess Cays is a private island and you can either stay on the island or on the ship. You can go to any part of the island but there are no taxis and no excursions other than those offered by Carnival. It is basically a beach day.

We have been on several river cruises with Viking and they always did well.

We had the ticket included and waited close to an hour in the heat.
