  1. @Philob, you make some good points. Note Princess has a ship there year around...it sails to Hawaii and Mexico during the non-Alaska season.
  2. They definitely can do this, using barges and water "buses" or ferries. They have done it elsewhere.
  3. What ship are you on? Small ships can do this, not large ones.
  4. The guides on our ships excursions accepted $5 and $10 bills gratefully.
  5. You can make a 12:05 flight whether you have to go through Immigration (Customs isn't really much of a "thing" any more) or not. Most Immigration now is facial recognition, which takes seconds in most cases. Can you get off fairly early on the process? Either pre-arrange your transport or take taxi or Uber? Remember you will be arriving at FLL in the middle of the crush from Port Everglades as well.
  6. Not sure who is saying it is "likely" you will be late docking. Its very unlikely you will dock late.
  7. I agree with the others...take a taxi. There will be huge numbers of them lined up when you get off.
  8. Keep in mind there are "two" Mexicos...the Caribbean side, and the Pacific. Both have a relatively small number of ports.
  9. The St Michele is the $11 per glass sparkling wine that is covered by the SBP. We drank a lot of it our last two cruises. We like it. There is also a prosecco at $9/glass, that they use for Mimosas. It is definitely not taking the place of the Wycliff. The Wycliff is used for the large free pours, like the welcome aboard toast by the Captain, the Mariner's Reception, etc. The Wycliff is also used for other mixed drinks that have a sparkling wine in it. To be honest, we drink a fair amount of champagne of a wide variety of qualities...we are even wine club members at Korbel Winery, one of the largest producers of sparkling wine in the world. Had two glasses of the Wycliff at the Mariners reception, and had a headache the rest of the day. That is reportedly caused by smaller bubbles in less expensive champagnes.
  10. Search around on this board. There are a couple threads on parking in the area of Pier 27. Hotel parking (long term) seems very limited, but there a couple of lots mentioned. The times we have sailed out of SF, we have not parked near the pier. Start with this:
  11. The Club Orange menu is the MDR menu with one additional entree. What else are you expecting?
