  1. Not sure who is saying it is "likely" you will be late docking. Its very unlikely you will dock late.
  2. I agree with the others...take a taxi. There will be huge numbers of them lined up when you get off.
  3. Keep in mind there are "two" Mexicos...the Caribbean side, and the Pacific. Both have a relatively small number of ports.
  4. The St Michele is the $11 per glass sparkling wine that is covered by the SBP. We drank a lot of it our last two cruises. We like it. There is also a prosecco at $9/glass, that they use for Mimosas. It is definitely not taking the place of the Wycliff. The Wycliff is used for the large free pours, like the welcome aboard toast by the Captain, the Mariner's Reception, etc. The Wycliff is also used for other mixed drinks that have a sparkling wine in it. To be honest, we drink a fair amount of champagne of a wide variety of qualities...we are even wine club members at Korbel Winery, one of the largest producers of sparkling wine in the world. Had two glasses of the Wycliff at the Mariners reception, and had a headache the rest of the day. That is reportedly caused by smaller bubbles in less expensive champagnes.
  5. Search around on this board. There are a couple threads on parking in the area of Pier 27. Hotel parking (long term) seems very limited, but there a couple of lots mentioned. The times we have sailed out of SF, we have not parked near the pier. Start with this:
  6. The Club Orange menu is the MDR menu with one additional entree. What else are you expecting?
  7. The brand is typically Wycliff...a member of the Gallo family. Pretty poor.
  8. The dress code doesn't change. If there are still formal nights, there will still be people dressing formally. What cruise line are we talking about? What are their dress codes? In the end, dress as you please, within the dress code.
  9. The menus you are seeing are the actual menu for that day on the ship, not a sample. The problem with trying to see the actual menu on any given day on your cruise, is the itinerary the same? If its the same as your cruise, the menu will likely be the same. In other words, if your ship is sailing the same 7 day itinerary week after week, you can expect today's menu to be the same as menu 2 or 3 or 4 weeks from today. Otherwise, generally, you can't see what nights are prime rib, for example.
  10. I "fourth" the idea of just having the ship take care of your laundry. Look on the RCI board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/51-royal-caribbean-international/ for any deals or packages.
  11. Whichever airport they can get the most advantageous (to them) air fares. What they have done in the past is not predictive of what they will do in the future. Its all about what air fares they can get at the time.
  12. Thread just down the board says the World Cruise 2026 hasn't come out yet. It's always first. Europe 2026 probably won't be out until late summer or well into Fall.
  13. Its seems to be up to the bartenders and waiters. Has been going on for over a year...
