  1. We just had Putu as our Butler on the Euribia. She was fantastic. Our Asst was Babu, such a sweet guy. We had Teo and Devi as servers and they too were excellent.
  2. As an aside, it was so nice to have High Tea offered and served each day. That is one thing we missed on the USA YC cruises recently.
  3. This was not what we were told on the Euribia last week when we boarded the YC. They specifically said that you no longer pay just the difference. It is the whole charge plus the SC. I never had it happen so I am not sure if they were just confused.
  4. I read so much on here, I might have missed something but something last week on my Northern Europe cruise on the Euribia one thing we were told is that when getting a drink outside of the YC if it was over the maximum drink allowance you would have to pay the full cost not just the difference. I swear I read at some point at least in the USA it was just the difference. Was I wrong? It never happened but I didn't know if it was a new policy or I was just misremembering something.
  5. The casino department used to have a very nice sheet that told you exactly what the upgrade costs were to each level. I feel the value is there most of the time to do the upgrade if you want the YC. It is always wise to look at booking it without the free voucher and see if it makes sense for you. They also allow you to combine certificates with another in the room. Also, most of the time casino free bookings do not get the email to bid on an upgrade from my experience.
  6. This was a first YC in many that our butler offered us the pressed items.
  7. I believe the discount on laundry is 15%. It seemed to be the same percent as if you prebooked the package.
  8. If you are stopping in Rotterdam, I would definitely take the day trip to Amsterdam. In Bilbao, we did the Guggenheim and walked to the old town area.
  9. We just did the 11 night RT from Southampton. We loved the ports, Bilbao was a #1 one for several of our group. I personally loved our day trip to Amsterdam but Bilbao was great. La Rochelle was very nice we did Green Venice but I would not say it was a must do.
  10. Do you recall was the casino in Pounds or Euro?
  11. I will be on starting 4/12 if that is not too late and you do not receive an answer I can check for you and let you know.
  12. Out of 5 YC cruise there was only one were they were enforcing a dress code. It was the Seashore and we saw one person be told no t-shirt at dinner and one woman was told to change her shoes. That couple never ate in the restaurant the rest of the trip. I believe it was because of flip flops. We had talked to them later in the cruise and they said they were so offended they ate elsewhere.
  13. On the Meraviglia when it was out of Port Canaveral we were the only people to use it. Also on the Seaside last year there were maybe 8 people max.
