  1. Hi, nope, I did not book any excursions. I have been to Bermuda 3 or 4 times over the years. I will probably take the ferry over to Hamilton one day. Walk around, have lunch at The Hog Penny too. Maybe take the ferry over to St George on another day.....and just walk around The Navy Yard too. And just relax on the ship. I bet it will be fairly empty with most folks doing tours.
  2. Hi, thanks so much.🙂 I can't remember the last time I drove to a port..........seriously, I fly out, no matter what my cruise itinerary happens to be. I see you are in South Carolina. How far is that drive to Baltimore?
  3. Hi, I never bring tennis shoes and as for making capris/cropped pants illegal? That is what makes us all different........you can give your opinion and I can have a different one. I have not owned a dress in years.........I agree, there is a variety of clothing attire on every cruise.
  4. Hi Janet, are you sailing on Celebrity? ........hope you have a great time. I leave here on the 25th for NJ too🙂
  5. Hi, daytime in the Caribbean? You won't need long pants for that......lightweight capris and shorts are what I usually wear during the day......if you are on the ship? Bathing suit and cover up always works. If you are more comfortable in a sundress, that works too. I have never sailed with Princess but I have been cruising for over 20 years on many different lines........a Caribbean cruise, (no matter the line) is really casual, at least during the day. If you feel like dressing up for dinner? You may certainly do so. I wear slacks and nice tops every night.....I am not a "dress" gal so nicer slacks work for me. Hope you both have a great cruise🙂
  6. Hi Cynthia, welcome back and sounds like you had a good time.🙂 As for pricing, I have taken 2 river cruises and both were good in price (in my opinion). AMA and UNIWORLD both offer specials for singles, depending on the itinerary of course. They offer cabins for solo guests with 0 singles supplements........just and FYI. Where are you going on the Azamara cruise? I went to Ireland and Scotland last year.........LOVED IT🙂
  7. Good morning🙂.....not sure I want to do it, that is being totally honest about it. I have never thought about freedom when it comes to checking a bag or not. I know many of the folks on here NEVER check a bag and that works for them. I am just thinking out loud......I will just have to do what works for me.
  8. Hi Mysty, I had to google the Tonkatsu because I did not know what it was.......omg, I would love that dish........fried pork with fried eggs? YUMMY!🙂

    Crystal Caves

We are all different and although I don't have mobility issues in general, I remember the walk back up and for me? It was hard and I was needing to sit down as soon as I got outside. So it was bordering on extreme for me.

    Crystal Caves

Going back up was difficult for me. I won't be doing these caves again. The steps (for me) were steep and I felt like I had to be really careful going back up. I went there several years ago and have a cruise to Bermuda at the end of this month. I won't be going back to these caves.
  11. Hi Lola, yes, it is me.......one of me is enough LOL
  12. CGT, OMG.........sounds like you went through some really bad s***. I hope you are feeling better soon! And I am glad you are home! My next cruise is at the end of this month.......going on Celebrity Eclipse to Bermuda. Sailing out of New Jersey. It is my first time back on Celebrity in 7 years😮I booked a Sky Suite, all the way aft......so a nice big balcony.
