If you want to confirm the costs, to my knowledge that is the way to see the actual prices for excursions and cruise activity purchases for a given itinerary as they vary by ship and sailing dates.

As that wider veranda is structural resulting from a storage closet located there on those decks, as indicated by @jelayne, that would not change during a refurb. And if there was any resulting stateroom reclassification, that would be indicated on the website deck plans, which it is not. It is currently a C1. That location IMO would be very desirable for two reasons: first the fact that is it aft facing on a higher deck (with staterooms between you and the Oceanview Cafe), and two, because of the larger veranda. Just to clarify, the stateroom decks are 6 - 12 as you correctly indicate. However you also mention deck 16 I'm guessing in error, as there is no deck 16 with staterooms. I have not stayed in a Reflection aft facing stateroom, so I don't have direct experience. However pictures don't lie. Your stateroom is on deck 11, which going by the picture provided, would have your and the other center area staterooms in those deck stacks with a wider veranda. Judging again from the picture which shows a deck chair in the wider area, that would tell me that it is accessible to use. I also don't see any indication on the Celebrity website Reflection deck plans that specifically state that the veranda is wider for decks 6-10. Not sure where you are seeing that. But as mentioned the picture indicates decks 6-12 with similarly sized wider verandas. There are also other pictures on line showing the aft of Reflection that show the same as your picture, so I would have to guess this information is accurate.

Also a good option. It was the lesser restrictions on non-alcoholic beverages in general that had me wondering about the N.A. wine.

Not a bad suggestion. I wonder since they would be non-alcoholic if, within reason, they would restrict the number being brought on board?

The price can vary by season and sailing, location on the island, and type of cabana, and can be quite expensive IMO. Over the water cabanas at Coco Beach club, for example, can exceed $3,000. (They typically would be for larger families or 3-4 couples traveling together). Hideaway Beach can run $1,500+. The ones on South Beach are far less costly but can still be in the $300+ range. Note also that Coco Beach Club and Hideaway Bay are private areas and carry an upcharge, which would be included in the cabana cost. The only way to determine an exact cost would be through the cruise planner with a booked cruise. But be prepared IMO for sticker shock! There are other alternatives with large umbrellas in most of those locations as well as at Oasis Lagoon and other spots, which are n/c on a first come basis.

I realize I am responding to an old post but this does relate to a more recent comment raised by @Ex-Airbalancer on this thread. It is both the cruise line and the TA imposing this restriction, as it is the mutual agreement the large box retailers have with the cruise line that restricts bookings made through them from participating in the MoveUp program. I'm guessing it has to do with conditions on the number and how stateroom blocks are held and associated pricing and perks. JMO. These retailers are not preventing the guest from participating by choice nor are they unwilling to assist, it is by contractual arrangement. So if you want to book through them for whatever benefits are provided, the condition of your reservation not qualifying for MoveUp is part of that booking. And to my knowledge it is only the big box retailer's bookings that are restricted in this. I am not familiar with any other TA that would have restricted bookings.

I would add RCCL CocoCay, but years ago pre-waterpark commercialization conversion when it truly seemed like a desert island. First time there 1992 and very undeveloped. Now, not so much.

Yes, that all changed with the shift to the 5:00 AM reset. But, in our experience, on more than one occasion the daily count screw ups were favorable...😉

In previous years the ice rink seats were on the left front side as you face the stage, which were OK, but recently have been front and center facing the stage which are excellent, as you mention. Agree as well with the Aqua theater.

...and I believe that is the result of inconsistent computer connections with the register terminals and the ship. Not sure there are issues with drink packages or a la carte purchases but when the problem exists, they seem to have issues with tracking vouchers via the SeaPass cards. At least that is what a bartender told me at Coco Beach club one time.

To add, it is always a good idea to confirm whether or not to use a voucher with a soda or other non-alcoholic purchase as, although we usually get asked, the server may default to using it if not aware otherwise. At D+ you will receive 5 vouchers per person, and they are combinable - you can use yours for your spouse, and visa versa, as the case may be. The vouchers are automatically renewed every 24 hours at 5:00 AM. Any remaining unused vouchers are forfeited as they do not carry over. If at the end of the night we have any left over we will go to any bar and get unopened canned or plastic bottled beverages (beer, Truly, soda, water) to take back to the stateroom for future use so as not to lose the vouches. The only venue in our experience they are not accepted is a the Bionic Bar. Depending on ship and venue, reserved seating is available in the main theater, the ice rink, and the aqua theater, and has been for a number of years. In our most recent experience it was balcony back center in the main theater, front center ice in the ice rink, and back center in the aqua theater. If you wish to take advantage of it, I would suggest showing up about 20 minutes or so early as they open any remaining seats up to general seating about 10 minutes before the show. Enjoy your returning D+ cruise!
