  1. I'm betting it never made it onboard, hopefully it was a rookie that misspoke and it is waiting for you on return to port.
  2. Was that in Nassau and you ended up getting back on her in Fallmouth? I remember reading a story like that here years ago
  3. I love both ships and have been on both twice. If you have kids more to do on Allure, but we are empty nesters and usually pick an itinerary.
  4. Finally under 75 days,m many thanks again to the people here who have helped me pass the time and be more Wonder-aware. After paying off the cruise, I had enough reward points to get $250 OBC for this cruise. I know there are better rewards cards, but I've had the BOA Royal card for 15 years, It is so much easier to redeem those points now than it use to be!
  5. That water taxi pier is no where near the center of town.
  6. I don't know the current cost, going in May, haven't been there since 2018, but that ferry doesn't save you much walking and the time you could have been walking you have to wait for the ship to empty, reload up and head back. The amount of walking it saves is probably about 1/2 mile.
  7. Its do-able, but can be hot. Its about a half mile to the beach and just a little further to most of the shops. IMO the water taxi doesn't save any time and little walking as it doesn't go far. The walk isn't bad, on really hot days you might want a hat, shade umbrella or carry some water. It can be done with scooters and wheel chairs. Your most will get moved of the ports section.
  8. Wow, the keyboard warriors are really fighting it out. I'll just mention Royal has stopped visits to Labadee before when unrest was high, don't know what their criteria is and how it relates to now.
  9. Anyone wandered around the port area in the early morning? Just trying to find a spot and watch Voyager arrive.
  10. I went ahead and booked the thermal suite for my wife and I . I'll report back in June. In typical Royal wierdness on their website, it was tricky to book. It clearly says 7 day pass, but it makes you pick a time and date for each person before you book.
  11. Ok, next question, Anyone done the thermal suite on Wonder? We did this on Jewel a couple of times and it was wonderful. I remember when Oasis came out in 2009 I think it was people said that they didn't limit the number of people and it was always crowded and hard to get a spot to relax. We toured it on Allure in 2011 and verified with people there, and they agreed, but that info is now 13 years old.
  12. What I know about soccer is next to nothing. I've told the Crew that if they pay me $1000 a game I won't watch. I've watched hours and hours of soccer live and have never seen a goal scored, But as soon as I turn it off they score! I will be at Fishlips this evening.
  13. As part of my continuing research, I did verify that Wonder has USB ports in the cabin. This did remind me that when Oasis came out they had Iphone 3 docking stations in every cabin. I bet you could find those cheap on Ebay now.
  14. Your many posts and seeing your avatar got me to thinking, I wonder if the Columbus Crew play Orlando City and sure enough the day before our cruise, they do play each other, but here in Columbus.
  15. We enjoyed him 3 times on Majesty, would have loved to see how is MO translated to a big ship. I'd have to guess well as he has been around a while,. I think we first had him on Majesty in 2007
