  1. It is mostly ballroom dancing. However, there is a disco as well and once or twice a voyage there will be a "party night" when the on board band from the disco are in the Queens Room.
  2. I didn't stay for the naming ceremony. Seemed little point once I found out it was just five women from Liverpool.
  3. There is only one train an hour. I think it goes at about 56 past the hour.
  4. So long as the bottle breaks unlike on Queen Victoria. Question is, will it be the same person doing the naming.
  5. I know of two. They usually have a good turnout in Liverpool.
  6. Thanks, for the response and the helpful info.
  7. I wasn't sure where to ask this so I thought, he is a good a place as any. Is there a free sauna on QA like QV and QE, or only the one in the Spa you have to pay to use?
  8. I think it might be too new to know. As a general rule, look for a cabin with cabins either side and above/below.
  9. I wasn't even born.
  10. I can confirm the above. No fencing on the current voyage.
  11. A quick hello from on board Queen Victoria. Boarding was smooth as usual. A bit of a surprise was that we had an old fashioned muster drill at 4pm. The video on TV still says to go to be scanned on so not updated yet.
  12. I was looking forward to seeing QA in Southampton. Oh well, I will have to wait until Liverpool in June.
  13. A lovely concert tonight at King Georges Hall in Blackburn with the Halle Orchestra. A Night at the Oscars. Highlights included West Side Story, Frozen, Star Wars, Titanic Schindler's List and Ben Hur.
  14. I went to see Sir Karl Jenkins at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester today. An excellent concert including extracts from "The Armed Man".
