thebooth Posted January 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I just got off the Enchantment and the C&A discounts are now on the sea pass card. I am not sure about the other levels but for at least Platinum the match play has been eliminated and replaced with a 20% discount on a tournament. This is somewhat disappointing given that the tournaments we tried to sign up for did not have enough people. Se la vie I guess, but just figured I would share the info. MS52 Posted January 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Bad news. That's usually the only coupon that I use. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
Jt4428 Posted January 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2014 We just got back from the Freedom on Sunday. We are emerald. Since they put the coupons on the seapass I found that they cut out alot of the better coupons.
molly361 Posted January 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2014 That match play coupons are no longer available since the coupons went electronic.
Clarea Posted January 1, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Funny, they removed them right after someone posted here on CC how to play them for a sure profit every time.

Maybe they did it different on the Enchantment but on the Liberty all the tournaments ran regardless of the number of people. The number of people was only used to determine if they would give away the free cruise. If they did not get the number of people they gave 1'st, 2'nd and 3'rd place finishers cash prizes instead which IMO was a lot better.
ScottandSarah Posted January 1, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2014 That's a downer for sure. That coupon is one that my wife and I look forward to using each cruise. The coupons are quickly becoming insignificant. When we started cruising, our Gold status gave us a free drink. Now they're mostly BOGO. Pretty sad. Lady Chew Posted January 1, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Dang ... I love the match play coupons. I use them on roulette and almost always win. Bet on black, every time.
cb at sea Posted January 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Isn't "buy one, get one", still a free drink?
Clarea Posted January 1, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Isn't "buy one, get one", still a free drink? Just a glass of wine, beer, or soda. No longer a cocktail.
Hokiefan01 Posted January 1, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Isn't "buy one, get one", still a free drink? Its not free if you have to pay for one, and you have to get two at the same time. nothing is free.

Priusprof Posted January 1, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 1, 2014 The $5 match play coupon is gone at all C&A levels. We are just off Brilliance and they were not loaded on our cards.
