ptcandy Posted October 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Candi and I are foodies and understand there are some great restaurants in Gustavia. Any suggestions? Our ship remains in port until midnight so dinner is an option. Thanks

ptcandy Posted October 30, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted October 30, 2011 We would love to know too! I think it's you and me, kid. I checked trip advisor and got some suggestions. Will also post on chow hound but haven't had much luck there lately.
Lorax Posted January 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2012 So did you find any place? I'm going in a couple of weeks and would love a recommendation of a good place.
O2B@Cagain Posted January 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2012 I haven't been in years, but St Barts probably has the most intense competition for diners in the Caribbean with very picky diners! ;) I don't think there is a bad place to eat on the entire island. sbgoddess Posted October 31, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 31, 2014 There are tons of restaurants in Saint Barth. If you are a foodie and want to experience top cuisine, try the following for dinner Eden Rock -- on the rocks Le Toiny Ile de France Bonito (in gustavia) L'isola (Italian in Gustavia) Le Sereno Maya's Christopher Note that those will probably cost you about 150 Euros ($200) per person, including one glass of wine per person. If you want simpler, middle of the road fare, but still very good, pretty much any restaurant around the harbor in Gustavia will do. among them: Eddy's Ocean Le repaire Bagatelle Baz L'entracte Cote Port Wall House La Route des Boucaniers Pipiri Palace These will come to ~75 euros per person ($100). Including a glass of wine. There are very few inexpensive restaurants, and they are hard to find. Le Select (Cheesburger in Paradise) is the dive bar in the middle of Gustavia and serves burgers from a grill Count ~20 euros per person. Others are: La Saladerie (in Gustavia) Andy's (In Saint Jean, hard to find if you aren't local) L'isoletta (Pizza by the slice in Gustavia) JoJo Burger (in Lorient) At those, you can get by with ~35 to 50 Euros per person, including a drink. I should also mention that the above are dinner options. For lunch, I would recommend some of the beach restaurants - Eden Rock Sand Bar - Ile de France - La Plage at the Tom Beach Hotel - Nikki Beach - Christopher Hotel - Do Brazil (Gustavia 50 Euros per person will get you an entree and a bottle of water at those. 100 Euros per person will get you a really nice lunch. O that list, only Do Brazil is in Gustavia
