Rare Lois R Posted December 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2011 Just booked this Silversea cruise as a solo and wondering if anyone is joining me. A supplement of $125%! Hi,:) what is the actual price of the cruise though? Silversea is definitely in the high end Luxury Lines.......
kmd Posted December 24, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted December 24, 2011 Hi Lois, Yes it is a bit expensive - $7400 (flights included). It is a 14 day cruise. This will be my first solo cruise and I chose Silversea because they seem to be very accommodating to their solo cruisers. I want to have a good "first time" experience. I sail with Celebrity as a solo 2 to 3 times a year and I always feel totally welcomed:):D It is like coming home again everytime I step on one of their ships.:) Hope you have a great cruise and for the price you are paying they better be accomodating;):)

Of course if one doesn't drink at all, then it's less attractive. I really hope that you'll give us a detailed report when you return, kmd! kmd Posted December 26, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted December 26, 2011 Elyce, I agree, a lot is included in the price which makes it more attractive. And, I definitely do drink :) I certainly will give a report when I get back.
