3littlepigs Posted October 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Can we get close to the wharf to be dropped off by my daughter? When we get back is there anywhere she can wait while we disembark? Anyone know what they charge? I have tried Dr Google but he isn't helping much today! theldaken Posted October 18, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2013 You can drive through to drop off and collect, but not park. We chose a suitable time and when we are off the ship, ring on our mobiles,to get picked up. There are benches to sit on while you wait.
joybook Posted October 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Theldaken is spot on. Drop off or pick up only. You will get just a few minutes before they move you on. Just make sure you are leaving/arriving at the OPT and not White Bay.:)
Esilef Posted October 18, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2013 We are getting a car from the airport. Hubby has a broken back & can't lift the luggage & we have a 4 year old autistic son. Can the driver drop our bags off for us? I'm good but I can push a wheel chair, a pram & carry 3 carry on bags and 3 suitcases at once !
3littlepigs Posted October 18, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Thanks! Definitely OPT, Don't think Radiance fits under the bridge! We will have to have a time in mind for pickup an have daughter on standby!

Yes, it'll stop right by the kerb, so dropping bags off with you there is fine. Luggage drop off is only about 10 m away, so it's easy to roll or carry them the short distance, in plain sight. Esilef Posted October 18, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 18, 2013 There are staff to help with luggage drop off. Sue Thank you! Getting on & off the ship is a real worry for us. RCI has advised me that I can have priority checkin at the time I want and that they supply wheel chairs for embark meant & disembarkment. Plus they can arrange a mobility scooter or wheelchair on board for hire.
