CruiserBruce Posted January 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Unless you know somebody, no. As commonly discussed here, there is the Behind the Scenes tour ($150) that takes you to the Bridge, and many other parts of the ship. Not available on all ships. Boat lover is asking On some ships for $150 per person you may do the behind the scenes tour which includes the bridge and a photo with the captain. Just ask at guest relations after you board. The usually limit the tour to 12 people. Jim Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
jtl513 Posted January 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2017 (edited) I read recently about a "Virtual Bridge Tour" talk in the showroom. Hope for that! Edited January 29, 2017 by jtl513

Krazy Kruizers Posted January 30, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 30, 2017 Don't know what ship you will be on. Bridge tours are usually only on the Vista and Signature class ships (not all the time) -- sorry I do not know about the Koningsdam. It is $150 per person. If not enough people sign up -- it will be cancelled. On the Westerdam last spring our cabin had a Q & A in the showroom. Before anyone could ask questions he talked about and showed some pictures of the Bridge -- poor and boring -- many people left. That lasted for 40 minutes. And then he allowed 10 minutes for a handful of people to ask questions.
iflyrc5 Posted January 30, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 30, 2017 We have gone to several "Virtual Bridge tours" and they have been excellent. On our recent Maasdam cruise the Chief Engineer did the virtual tour with lots of photos and spent well over an hour to a packed audience. He was the most senior chief engineer in the HAL fleet and did an outstanding job.
