Hi, I am ready to book shore excursions for my upcoming cruise. And on the Celebrity Solstice in Sydney, Day 2, December 22, the HOP ON HOP OFF BUS is not a choice anymore. It used to be a choice, but I do not see it. Has it been discontinued? Can anyone help? Thanks.

Most of the sites in Sydney visited by the hop on hop off bus can be easily walked to or visited with public transport. A MyMulti day pass is available for $23 and will take you anywhere in the Sydney area by train, bus, ferry and light rail.

We live in Sydney and are on the same Solstice cruise. Would be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Myself and a number of other locals (and some great ex locals) have posted many suggestions on the roll call.

Have a pop in if you haven't already visited. The others on there seem like a great bunch.

Cheers. John & Danni.

Are all ferries covered by the pass, including the one to Manly?

All the public ferries are.

The sydney fast ferry isn't as it is privately operated.

As an option to buying my multi (which may be phased out by then as round 2 of paper ticket removal occurs Dec 1)

grab an opal… even with a $20 total cost and $15 per day cap you are still in front by $3 (at the moment light rail is not included by by Dec is supposed to be on line)

If you are there on Dec 21 it is $2.50 all day as Opal replaces the old sunday funday but with no need to have kids.

The news agency under Circular Quay station sells opal cards. It is on the street side
