Tiki Bar at Accra Beach or Harbour Lights at Carlisle Bay ?

Can anyone that's been to these beaches please comment ? Torn as to which one to go to.

Bumb - please contrast and compare...and if you haven't been to both, tell us about your experience at one or the other.

Also - please advise taxi fare, and other relevant useful information.

Ships' tours seem pricey and short so we're looking for alternatives (as I guess the OP is too.)

Maddle, have you gotten feedback elsewhere on this by any chance ? I'm still trying to decide. Actually wondering if we can do both in one day ?

Accra and tiki is my favorite...

We were in Barbados on February 4. Harbour Lights was $5 ea one way by taxi. $15 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Beautiful beach, very busy and a number of people trying to sell boat trips to see the turtles, beer and aloe vera. If you want peace, this is not the place but we were fine with it. Haven't been to Accra.

can we get a boat to Accra to see the turtles ? If so how much would that cost ?

Hi- We went to Harbour Lights on a ship's excursion for $30- it included the bus, the lounge and umbrella, and a welcome drink. The day we were there, the vendors did not come to the beach area. HL has an outdoor bar, a grill, and changing rooms with showers. The beach is beautiful (Carlisle Bay Beach).
