Tampa to Fort Everglades

Before we do our trans-Atlantic next April we are visiting friends in the Tampa area. They have told us they are a long way from the train station and you have to use a bus for part of the journey to Fort Lauderdale. Other than hiring a car and driving is there a bus or limo service anyone can recommend door to door to a hotel near the cruise terminal.

Well, I would look into the train. Amtrak from Tampa to Fort Lauderdale is around $32pp.

You can probably Uber to the train station. It is just outside Ybor City.

You can also fly.

You could look into The Florida Express Bus to see if it meets your needs. I'm pretty sure it's not door-to-door, but local taxi, uber, LYFT could get you to your hotel. I would look into Amtrak, though.

I would choose to rent a car - about 4.5-5 hours and you are there.

Thank you that was all very helpful. We have now booked two nights in Fort Lauderdale so we can now work things out with our friends:)
