Help needed....New Orleans info

We are sailing out of New Orleans on Jan. 20th.....will be coming in a few days early to see New Orleans. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel....not too pricy :) but a good location ???? Want to be near the action of course !!! :)

Do any of the hotels have the program where you can leave your car while you are cruising?

What ever you decide, make sure you check the hotel parking costs. NOLA is one of the priciest cities for parking.

I agree. I think we paid about $40/night the last time we were there (Staybridge Suites) and it was even a crappy/cramped parking area. At least it was off the street and not too far from the port.

We used the Priceline Express deal option and received the Sheraton for $54 per night, on a weekend. Check it out
