After getting helpful advice from so many people here, we had an amazing time. I thought I would post our vacation video here to help others grasp how great our experience was and the awesomeness of the French Polynesia and the Paul Gauguin.

I used a Gopro 3 black edition camera. For the aerial shots used the Gopro with a DJI drone.

That has to be the most amazing review I have ever seen!! The drone shots were spectacular! Some serious height and amazing views. So I fly rc helicopters, are drones easier? Could save me a lot of money from crashing helicopters. Lol.

This video is beautiful! I made my husband watch it to get excited about our upcoming cruise. He doesn't enjoy the planning process as much as I do....

Do you ever have trouble traveling with the drone? How much space does it take in your baggage? Is it carry on sized?

Did you use an aftermarket gimbal to stabilize the camera or just the stock mount?

I used an after market gimba H3-3D. It amazes me how stable to keeps the video even in high winds and fast banks.
