Snorkeling Equipment

Do I need to bring snorkeling equipment to Tahiti? I'm cruising to Bora Bora and several other sites. Do the snorkeling tours like Rannui offer the equipment?

First, we did the full day with Rannui and we enjoyed our excursion. We had Arieta and her son take us out, she literally 'towed' me around the coral gardens! For the BBQ we were just 4persons, it was a lovely clean motu & the food was great. I would suggest you bring your own mask&snorkel (fins optional) watershoes and an inflatable snorkel vest if you are a novice. Some tours offer equipment but having your own gear that fits you properly makes the experience much better. You can pack everything you need in a lightweight nylon backpack.

If you are on the PG you will be able to borrow their equipment. You will pick it up day one and keep it with you for the whole cruise. Some people bring their own mask and snorkel and just use PG fins and life jacket.
