Saw another news about norovirus outbreak on Dawn Princess, any mom out there really concern? What can you do (besides the hand washing, etc) for a one and a half year old? I have been on three cruises never got sick.

Your child is more likely to get moro at daycare/church/grocery store than on the ship! True, it's difficult to keep a toddler's hands away from their face....eyes, nose and mouth are the entry points....so just keep your child's hands clean, as best you can!

You know, it's not the SHIP, but the passengers who carry the virus!

I'm not a big germ-o-phobe, but when on ships I started using the Clorox hand wipes that kill viruses (not just germs). We've been on two ships with norovirus outbreaks, but did not get it. We tried not to touch things like handrails, elevator buttons (knuckles instead of fingers), etc. and just kept hands constantly cleaned.

Best,

Mia
