Beverage package & room service?

This will be my first Oceania cruise.

Since wine is by the glass, how do they handle room service for dinner if you have the beverage package? Do you have to keep calling room service to get another glass?

Yes, the service is by the glass.

Yes and NO----if you have a good butler it's not a problem.

LOL, so true!

This is one of the reasons we won't partake of the beverage package again - it is kind of a pain to have to order by the glass for drinks in the room. We also found that beverage staff were not real excited to serve you promptly if you had the package. We often sat at dinner with empty glasses. YMMV.

So what do you care if someone thinks your being elitist.....your paying for what your getting and if your suite has a butler use them.

Called re premium pkg , can order two at a pp for room service. We shall sse

We simply asked our butler for a glass of white and two glasses of red each for the meal. (White for the starter, red for main etc). No worries. Wine arrived as specified.
