Tahitian/Polynesian Dinner Shows? In Papeete

Will be on the Pacific Princess 10 Day in November and would like to attend a dinner show.

Knowing that these shows take place late evening, It would have to be on this schedule:

Friday Night (the ship sets sails Saturday at 4AM to Moorea)

Any recommendations for a great dinner show?? Or will the cruise line have a similar type of show onboard for guest?

When we were on the (former, small) Royal Princess in 2011, Princess provided a Tahitian dance show on the ship the evening of embarkation, when the ship stayed in port overnight. They also provided an evening show on the ship during the day in Raiatea, when the ship did not sail until late evening.

When we sailed on the Tahitian Princess, they had a local dance group perform on board. There is not a lot of night lifein those islands. One thing you may want to consider for a night in Papaeete (sp) is the night food market done by the pier. Andrew Bourdain and other travel shows have shown this as a surprising highlight.
