carbon Posted March 22, 2016 #26 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Valley church beach or tour with scenic tours of Antigua. What was nice about the package with the resort? Was it worth the money?

Froufie Posted March 25, 2016 #28 Share Posted March 25, 2016 Can anyone weigh in on this? If you have never been to Antigua before I highly recommend taking the tour - you get a nice overview of the island with lots of information and stops along the way....including a lovely beach if that is what you choose. We did not take the resort package since we were not docked that long and it would not have made sense to only spend a few hours there for the high cost. Depends on what you are looking for? :)
carbon Posted March 31, 2016 #29 Share Posted March 31, 2016 I booked without the day pass. Are you able to purchase drinks and eat at the Outhouse if you do not purchase the day pass? Towels or use the pool?
moniquet Posted April 6, 2016 #30 Share Posted April 6, 2016 We spent two weeks at that hotel. It is ok. But don't think it is worth getting a day pass. Food is much better on the ships:) There are plenty of equally good beaches close to the port.
carbon Posted April 6, 2016 #31 Share Posted April 6, 2016 I just paid the $20 pp and did not get the day pass. We will get to see some of the island and pay as we go at resort. Probably try that outlook restaurant for lunch. Did you eat there?
moniquet Posted April 7, 2016 #32 Share Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) Yes, we were all inclusive and the outhouse was part of the package. Opens around 12.30 pm. Edited April 7, 2016 by moniquet
bcakes Posted April 22, 2016 #33 Share Posted April 22, 2016 The photos posted here have me almost sold on doing the tour with day pass. I'm curious about what's included in the day pass besides food. The Pineapple Beach Resort website mentions activities. Did anyone happen to notice or take advantage of any of the activities? Also, can anyone comment on whether there were vegetarian options on the buffet? My husband eats fish, by my son and I are complete vegetarians (we do eat dairy). Thanks!
