We have a cruise on Caribbean Princess with a port stop in Belize on the January 22, 2017 sailing. :)

Not sure, but last Belize stop for Liberty of the Seas is the week of April 30, 2017. Being replaced with Costa Maya, which we are not fans of.

Back in 2014, RCCL and Carnival both threatened to pull out of Belize due to tighter Ebola Screenings being required by the Belize Government. They have banned tourists who have traveled to or are from several West African countries from entering Belize and were requesting to check cruise pasenger's passport. Since a lot of cruisers don't use passports, only birth certificates, this rule would come at great cost to the cruise lines and frustration to passengers. I thought with the Ebola crisis essentially over, the issue had been resolved. Might be something else though.

BTW, We happen to like Costa Maya. Beaches right near cruise port and Maya ruins are closer. No cave tubing though.

I just checked on vacations to go and it shows liberty and rhapsody stopping in belize well into 2017.

You going to Harvest Caye? Or are they still sending you to Belize City?
