Pool Butlers????

Do Pool Butlers actually exist on Celebrity ships? Their brochures and commercials state "Luxury elevated to an art form with attentive pool butlers, they're always there with a smile and a helping hand".

I regularly see pool attendants, who are seen moving towels but am not sure I've seen a Pool Butler.

Has anyone experienced a Pool Butler?

Have seen them at the Pool on every cruise. Sometimes loading towels, picking up dishes & glasses left around, removing towels from loungers & straightening up the lounge chairs. They occasionally pass out cool towels or fruit skewers.

So what is a "Pool Butler." He/she is simply a member of the crew charged with the responsibility of looking after the pool deck (cleaning up, straightening chairs, maintaining a supply of towels, etc). What makes the different then the pool staff on many other lines is that they wear T-Shirts with the words "Pool Butler" written on the back :). What they do not do is actively police the deck to prevent folks from saving loungers....
