Help me rank them

I am cruising next Feb. 2016 and all the islands look great to dive, but if I had to choose 4 or 5, which ones are can't miss spots?

Puerto Rico (staying a few days prior to trip)

St. Croix

St. Maarten

Dominica

Grenada

Bonaire (this one for sure)

Aruba

Curacao

I'll do a reverse comment. Skip Aruba and St. Maarten for diving.

I would certainly choose Bonaire & Curaçao. Aruba did not impress me. St crowd, and Dominica would be my next two choices.

Sounds like you may be on the carnival cruise I am on too. I am diving in St croix, grenada, bonaire and curacao. Let me know if you want names of ops I found.

Yep, we have exchanged some info on the "roll call" chain. Looks like my group will be diving:

For Dominica I highly recommend ALDIVE. Samantha and Billy will take great care of you well, and make diving from the cruise easy. They'll pick you up at (and return you to) the port, and show you a great time.

Aruba has fabulous diving! The wreck of the Antilla is just a 5 minute boat ride. The south coast is awesome advanced diving....from about 30 feet down to 105 along a slope....great drift dive. The Arashi reef is full of life (saw several frog fish on one dive!) and Pedernalis is amazing for critters such as green morays and turtles. Debbie II had 2 seahorses. I've been to Aruba 3 times, once on a cruise ship and the other 2 times, we stayed for a week and did 3 dives a day with Red Sail Sports. Absolutely wonderful diving!

Dominica is my other choise.....Castle Comfort Lodge and Dive Dominica are wonderful. Champagne is everyone's favorite but head south to Scott's Head for some out of this world diving. Sea horses, spotted morays, crinoids, amazing diving! I've never had a 'bad' dive.

Here is my ranking:

1. Bonaire (we've been 3x now, and are returning again in December)

2. Aruba

3. Curacao

4. Grenada

5. St. Croix / St. Maarten (tie)

Can't speak to Puerto Rico or Dominica, we've never been diving there
