Thomson Majesty new bar drinks list

Has anyone got a new one of these they can post please, I hear the selection is less, i.e more supplements if you are on all inclusive.

I don't know about selection, but I thought their Cocktails were a bit weak. They didn't seem to have much alcohol in them. I overheard a few people complaining.

The Cocktail of the Day is pre-mixed. I saw a bar person doing it one day.....just pouring (without measures) different drinks into one bottle and shaking it up. I like to sit at the bar and watch them making me one up to see what goes in it. As I was on AI I tried all of them and was not impressed so stuck to spirits with a mixer or Cointreau with ice. :rolleyes:

We thought the cocktails were OK but it may depend upon who makes them.

We had a barman who used Bombay Sapphire when we ordered anything with Gin in it

Friend of ours was drinking Long Island Tea. Had no effect on him. Said if he drank same amount at home, he would have been flat on his back. Definitely weak cocktails and not only for passengers on the drinks package.

I've found a dream 2013 barlist but has anyone got a 2015 at all please?

Find cocktails now have a glass full of ice, and even asking for little ice doesn't make a lot of difference. You have to drink it really quick to get the full flavour of the drink or half the cocktail is a very watered down drink which is a shame. Different bars mix them differently, and even spirit drinks can suffer. Ray had a whisky ginger where they "forgot" to put the whisky in, and charged him for 2 Famous Grouse when he had asked for Cruise Choice which he has if mixing with ginger. I started going to the Hemmingway Bar to order drinks instead of the Broadway bars.

Do you have to pay for every mixer on the All Inclusive option, every one seems to have *0.95 next to it (all be it an old menu I'm looking at)

Think that's for a can or bottle they give you separate. The normal mixers they use are from large bottles these are included

If you want your mixer in a can or bottle you have to pay AI or not £1,70 for a can of coke or bottle of tonic

Found almost every mixer on the Maj flat.Ended up paying the supplement for mixers

Also spirits and cocktails were weak in most bars outwith the rendezvous bar

Every time you go the bar and ask for as an example "rum and coke" the coke is poured from a large bottle from behind the bar which are usually flat as Jim the Scot commented we ended up buying the mixers separate although we were AI
