Maho Beach

I watch the webcam once and awhile and all summer there were rocks along the beach and today I look and there are none. Do they put them there during Hurricane season and them take away for Winter?

There were plenty of rocks when I was there in January 2016.

Hopefully the beach has returned

It's become a VERY rocky beach. :o

Today the tide is coming in over the road and they are trying to clean it up with equipment. Only one lane open this morning. very strange beach!

Thanks for the beach cam link... very cool! (I'll be sharing with my son who is staying behind while my husband and I cruise next week- he may be 15, but poor kiddo has anxiety, so this will be something neat for him to look at on the day we arrive in SXM!):)

Just to clarify, the rocks are not removed! The question is whether the sand is there or not. They continually add sand there as it gets washed out by the winds, tides, and hurricanes.

Love the beach cam, I like how you can click & find out the times for the arrivals & departures.

I was there on Thursday last week and there was lots of sand right up to the road.
