Is Sept a good month for the Baltic?

I would have preferred summer but we are looking at a September Baltic trip. How is the weather then?

We also thought of September before but reconsidered when a relative who lives in Copenhagen said it's starting to get cold by that time. We did the Baltic instead May of last year and we enjoyed the weather, except with some occasional shower.

It might be fantstic but it might also be cold.. Remember that the wind factor onboard the ship will make it colder.

I live in the south east part of Sweden and some years we still swim in the Baltic sea in September and some years we need a jacket just to go out..

It likely will be on the colder side but you will have less tourists then.

Last year we did a Baltic starting Aug. 31 and ending Sept. 10 from Copenhagen. Weather was perfect, one evening of light sprinkles in St. Petersburg.

Would love Sept.. The opposite happened to us when we hit a scorching July. Think of the packed Hermitage with no AC. No fun.
