Bbc hd channel

Was looking forward to see what this was like on our last cruise in May aboard Qm2 only to find its not even HD...so I wonder why they would call it BBC HD:confused:

They can broadcast in HD but it won't be HD unless you watch on HD equipment.

There are usually two satellite streams of a television channel one in HD for those with HD equipment and a standard definition channel SD. It is also possible that the limits on the bandwidth for maritime reception restricts the signal and even a HD signal will look grainy.
