What to eat/drink

We will be arriving at this port in less than 2 weeks on the Carnival Valor southern Caribbean cruise.

I've searched Google and the board but have not found much in terms of what sort of local cuisine to eat or any sort of beverages to consume.

Looking for any sort of help.

Do you have a favorite restaurant to order this? any recommendations? I will probably be staying in the Philipsburg area.

Guavaberry rum and liqueurs are as local as it gets. Definitely an acquired taste though.:)

I'd go for Rum Jumbie.

They also have a variety of flavored rums. My favorite is the Mango Splash.

I usually buy at Ocean Jewelers on Frontstreet, and they have free tasting of lots of the products.
