Can we make the 6 a.m. ferry coming off a flight landing at 4:30 a.m.?

We'll be coming off the AF flight, bound for Moorea. I'm thinking that catching the 6 a.m. ferry might be iffy. Next one is at 8:30 I think.

Last time we took Air Tahiti. They have a flight that leaves at 7 a.m. This leaves time to languish around the airport area, watch the mamas selling their necklaces and leis. It's more expensive, but then you don't have to pay for a taxi. And not sure what we'd do waiting around the ferry terminal with our luggage if we missed the 6 a.m. ferry

The other advantage is that we will know exactly when we arrive. Since we'll be renting a car from Albert's, they would have the shuttle at the plane to take us to their office and we'd be on our way.

Any opinions?

I wouldn't...too close. In case AF is delayed you will be in trouble.

We are booked for an 8 am flight to BB.

On another note once you check in for your domestic flight are there any shops, cafes etc? Will need to stock up on Tahiti drink and some water.
