Easy to get to???

Hello all.....:cool::cool:just wondering if it is easy to get to stingray city from cruise ourselves????? Is it worth it ??? Or should we do an excursion ???? Please all thoughts would be treated appreciated ...:D:D

I think you'd have to have a boat to get there. We have our December trip there booked with Acquarius Tours which got great reviews on Trip Advisor.

You don't need a SHIP'S excursion, but you will have to book thru someone....google it...lots of different operators!

As others have said, Stingray City is a sandbar out in the ocean so you need an excursion of some kind to get there unless you own a boat.

Stingray City is a large sandbar out in the ocean. As I recall it is a good 20+ minute ride by boat.

As others have said, its out in the ocean and you need a tour of some sort to get there....OR be a very, very good swimmer. (Its at the red marker on the photo).
