Cruising into King's Wharf on Celebrity Summit

There's no way to predict how the ship will dock. It docks both port side to the pier and starboard side to the pier, and on any particular cruise the way it docks is a function of which lifeboats have to tested during safety drills and other maintenance that may need to be performed that week.

There isn't a bad view regardless of whether you end up facing the Dockyard or Great Sound.

We went in June, we went in Sept. Ship was docked the opposite way each time, so there's no way to tell on your sailing which way you'll be docked. And as the above posted stated, either way, it's a nice view.
