Mullet Bay

We are thinking about going to Mullet Bay.

1- Can someone tell me what the taxi fare would cost for 3 people. I read on this post that someone paid $6 but had a group of 24. Is there a set pp rate?

2- Is there public transportation and if so can you provide some info.

You can get a shared taxi/taxi van at the port - when we did this 2 years ago I think it was $8 for each of us. You can take a bus there but it will take longer.

We have taken a bus back to Phillipsburg and it was (I think) $2 per person. We just walked down towards the Sonesta and caught the bus there. It will take longer with a bus to get back as of course it stops in plenty of spots and as you have to walk to the port from where the bus drops you off so leave plenty of time.

Is it easy to get a taxi back from mullet bay?

I am not sure - you can always walk down to the Sonesta and get a taxi back

It's a quick easy walk from Mullet to the main road that runs into the little town and you will find plenty of taxi's there. Most that see you walking will stop and ask if you need a taxi. No worries. :)

Has anyone done the walk to Maho from Mullet recently? What route did u take? Also how long was the cab ride from the cruise port to the mullet?

We took a cab to Mullet then walked to Maho (my review is in my signature line with tons of pictures). The "route" doesn't change no matter how recently the walk was. ;)
