Taxi from Viking Ship to CDG Airport

Our TA quoted me $60.00 per person to get back to the airport with Viking. That seems high to me. Has anyone taken a taxi or used a shuttle that would cost us less than one hundred and twenty Canadian dollars?

We are going to Paris a few days early to enjoy our favourite city once again.

you can take a taxi for about 55-60 euros, maybe a little more if during rush hour or excessive baggage. every year we use G7 taxi (easy google search)…they have an english speaking phone line and you can make a reservation…or you can have the ship staff call for you….there are very efficient bus and metro options at less cost but unless you are very familiar with Paris i wouldn't recommend that… G7 is the only cab we use but there are many other companies...

make sure you get to CDG 3 hours in advance of an international flight..

have a safe journey, i hope you enjoy Paris as much as we do every year

Thanks for the information. This will be our third visit to Paris, although the first in 10 years, so we have some familiarity with the city. We plan to spend several days in Paris pre-cruise, and are hoping our TA can arrange for a shuttle to our hotel. The cost of 60 Euros for a taxi to CDG is certainly better than the price we were quoted. We are seniors and have started travelling light, so luggage is never an issue. :)

We did a Viking cruise from/to Paris this past December and had arranged our own air and pre-trip stay. We had a flight home the day the cruise ended in Paris and Viking had arrangements with a service for individual transfers back to CDG for 60€ total. It was a private transfer, worked perfectly for us. They arrived at the scheduled time and whisked us to the airport. Enjoy your visit to Paris and your cruise.

Taking the RER train from CDG will cost about 9 euros apiece, and the terminal station (Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel) will be about a quarter-mile from the Quai de Grenelles, where the Viking ships (and I believe most other cruise lines) dock. The RER trains have plenty of space where you can place your bags on your way into the city.
