going to Key west for the 1st time in october, could anyone recommend a good snorkling trip?

I will not have my own gear, so I need a tour that will provide them.

thanks! kathy

Don't know how much time you have or how serous you are about "good" snorkeling, but the best snorkeling is at the Dry Tortugas National Park.

Well, scratch that, that is not really Key West, it is two and a half hours one way by ferry, or quicker by sea plane.

Don't really have a special tour there all of them are reasonable. Many to choose from along Duval street kiosks or at hotel lobbies.

Cheers.

I think the best snorkel-only trip from Key Wesnto the red is on the Floridays. She moors at the Hyatt pier off Front street and does a nice morning and afternoon trip. The boat is limited to 36 people but they generally take fewer.

We had a GREAT time on Floridays a couple years ago. There were only 5 total passengers on board that day it was like having our own private yacht :):D
