Signature of Excellence. HAL is putting new mattresses, pillows, sheets, towels, robes, and duvets in all the cabins on all ships. HAL started doing this just this past spring. The penthouse and suite cabins were the first to get the new items. And as the months go by, all cabins will have everything. The program is suppose to be completed sometime in 2006.
gliles - thanks for bringing this to my attention - found it on HAL's web site. I have written to the Head Housekeeper and asked if the web site is correct or if it's a mistake. I was only posting what he had told me. Will let you know when I found out which is right.
esme - You are right though, the duvets are only in suites. Heck, as long as I have a bed to sleep in, I don't care!
That's exactly how I feel - just give me a bed and a pillow and I'm happy! Who needs a duvet in the Caribbean anyway. As it is we keep the room very cold and usually only need the sheet and one blanket. We're hearty Canadians, used to the cold Just came out of the pool and it was only 72F - chilly but refreshing.
